An evangelical broadcaster in the US has predicted that a massive earthquake on Saturday May 21st will start the process of the end of the world. Which is highly inconvenient because I have a night out planned tonight and I wanted to get some pool time in before the earthquake causes the balls to move out of position!
This guy, Mr Camping, had predicted the end of the world in 1994, but got it wrong, obviously. So should we take his predictions, of which he’s 100% certain it will happen, seriously? Well, that depends on your beliefs. My belief is that it’s not going to happen, we’ll move past this date without fuss and life will go on. There will always be some other person who has predicted Armageddon.
However, just on the off-chance it does happen, I’d just like to say it’s been nice talking to you all, and I’ll see you either above or below!
