Right then ladies and gents. Either this is going to be a massive flop, or, it’s going to fit in quite nicely with the rest of the DGB website.

After the demise of GlassTalk, I have always toyed with the idea of having/creating a forum for the industry. I did think about creating one separate one for the industry and trying to build that up, but I didn’t have the time or expertise to do that properly.

Instead, I decided to try and incorporate one into DGB, which I have. There was a plugin called bbPress which did the trick.

Anyway, as you can see there is a page on the main menu of the site dedicated just to the forum. One of the most heated topics on the GlassTalk forum was the WER debate, so I thought I would start with that. See where that goes.

I am going to add a few more threads, mostly of some of the most important topics of the year so far. But please feel free to add any subjects you wish.

But, there are house rules:

  1. No racism
  2. No bullying – hot subject at the minute, keep it above the belt!
  3. Keep swearing to a minimum, the lesser ones I’ll let thru ;-)
  4. No libelous comments

So, keep it kind, fun and productive! If it flops, I’ll take it down, if it works then I’ll keep it up there! Simple!
