You will have seen in a previous post on here that John Fredericks have brought out their own range of timber-alternative windows, the Suffolk Collection. Well, for a little while they have been selling their highly popular Suffolk Door collection. In fact many of the doors you have seen me tweet over the last few months have been doors from the Suffolk Door collection.
The Suffolk Door range has been available from John Fredericks for around a couple of years now and after speaking with MD Steve Darkins, he confirms that they are indeed a very good seller for Fredericks and look set to perform very well in the near future.
The nice things about the Suffolk Door range is the personalisation. There are a HUGE number of preset styles and designs the customer can choose from. But, the beauty with these engineered doors is that the customer can choose their own design, with Fredericks then able to manufacture that for them, as per the customer’s requests.
As John Fredericks have their own spraying facility down at A&B HQ in Sudbury, any colour, inside or out, is available too. The industry seems to have come full circle over the past 30-odd years. When PVC first came out, it was all white or a really poor Mahogany wood grain. But people loved it at the time because there wasn’t any maintenance issues. Now though, the consumer is demanding all the looks of timber, but with the advantages of PVC. Well the Suffolk Door range from JFS ticks that box very well.

Suffolk Doors and Suffolk Windows have been designed to compliment each other perfectly, and in the right property will look stunning. Whatever you need from your manufacturer, John Fredericks is there to help. If you’re in the market for a new fabricator or have been impressed with John Fredericks and their wider range of high quality PVCu products, call 01422 314100, email sales @johnfredericksplastics.com or catch them on Twitter:@jfplastics or @NewbuildsNo1
I agree that they’re pretty funky looking! I like the new foiled colours such as chartwell green that have recently come out as well.
I just wish Distinction Doors would pull their fingers out and come up with a paint range that matches standard coloured foils instead if “fifteen shades of grey” that match neither RAL 7015 or 7016!!
