With Window Ware turning 30 this year, we were determined to turn out a catalogue which was worthy of our milestone birthday and set a benchmark for our next chapter in business.

Before we even embarked on the design process, we wanted to make sure this catalogue was closely aligned with the needs of its readers, so we started by asking our customers what they wanted. The feedback told us that one size does not fit all. Our fabricators wanted a catalogue that was durable enough to withstand frequent handling and big enough so as not to get lost on a workbench. Installers, on the other hand, preferred a smaller format, capable of fitting into a cluttered glove compartment or on a van dashboard. Consequently, our newest catalogue is available in both full-size A4 and handy B5.

Our time-pressed customers also wanted to be able to look up products as quickly as possible and have key information at their fingertips to help them make informed purchase decisions. Our colour-coded pages and detailed contents lists should help with that – fast forwarding readers to the right location. Our use of clear icons, images and symbols also supports fact-finding at a glance, whether our customers what to know about product accreditations and certifications, finishes, guarantees, delivery options or payment methods. We’ve also worked hard to present information in an accessible and concise way so readers can easily grasp key facts. Manufacturers logos are on display alongside each product to ensure our brand-conscious customers can find the names they know and love including Yale, Trojan, MACO, Xpert, Stormguard, Hoppe, Greenwood, R W Simon and more. In fact, the brochure contains over 6500 fenestration products!

For anyone who has ever used the edge of a book as a makeshift ruler, our brochure has the added bonus of an actual scale ruler printed along the spine, so not only can you draw ad hoc straight lines, you can measure them too! Of course, this bumper 30th birthday edition has some other special features too, such as the Window Ware official timeline which shows the company’s evolution since 1987. Look out for our limited edition 30th Anniversary logo on the cover too!

Head of internal sales and marketing, Sarah Binns explained, “We hope our new catalogue provides a clear, user-friendly point of reference for our growing product range and, more importantly, helps our customers to find what they need, fast!”

Window Ware’s area sales managers will be visiting all account customers personally to present them with their very own copy of the latest brochure. In the meantime, anyone who can’t wait can visit www.windowware.co.uk/brochure-request to download or request a B5 edition to be sent by post.
