Contracted Hours:
37.5 hours per week (flexibility is required to meet the needs of the business. You will be expected to work such hours as necessary for the performance of your duties. This may include evenings and/or weekend working and overnight stays away from home)
Role Outline:
The Regional Sales Manager is ultimately responsible for revenue, margin and market share for TruFrame Trade Frames Ltd. You will develop relationships with customers to win business and market share and delivery a fully integrated sales journey, including planning and forecasting customer activity and monitoring profit targets to ensure that the business retains its exceptional status in the marketplace.
Reporting weekly on area activity, sales performance and competitor activity is also a fundamental part of this role, with responsibility for overseeing all new product launches to customers and ensure that the whole product range is sold in to an account.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
– Developing new customer opportunities on designated area
– To generate profitable new accounts in territory
– Take responsibility for planning own sales activities and customer contacts towards achieving agreed business aims
– Be able to plan and manage business portfolio according to an agreed market development strategy
– Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods and relevant internal liaison to optimize the quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction
– To integrate sales efforts with other organised marketing activities e.g. product launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions and telemarketing
– Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods
– Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information
– Record, analyse, report and administer according to sales systems and requirements
– Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal sales meeting with colleagues to perform and aid business development
– Support customers on service issues and bring a sense of urgency to any product or service issue
– To work closely with the internal team e.g. customer services, sales and order process teams
– To forecast volume and future potentials for production capacity
– Attend training as necessary by the Sales Director to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills
– To attend monthly sales meetings held at Head Office (Melton Mowbray)

Person Specification:
– Must have uPVC Industry Experience
– Qualified to degree level, preferably in a Sales/Sales Management or business-related discipline, or the equivalent business experience
– Significant experience in a sales role and building customer relationships
– Significant experience in a high-targeted sales environment
– Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
– Demonstrate a confident, enthusiastic and self-motivated personality
– Self-starter able to work on own initiative
– Ability to communicate clearly at all levels
– Highest standard of written English and good proof-reading skills
– Good numeracy skills
– Well-developed business sense
– Commercial and creative mindset
– Strong project management and leadership skills
– Possesses a strong knowledge and experience of B2B demand generation and B2C support for customer requirements
– Ability to work to tight deadlines (accurately and quickly)
– Confident team player prepared to be flexible to meet team requirements, including travel, hours and scope of work
– A valid UK driving license is essential for this role
