Job Position: Internal Sales Assistant
Job Description:
UK Fasteners was established in 1983 and is a specialist in window fasteners and allied consumables for the window and door manufacturing sector from our warehouse and offices in Longborough, near Moreton-in-Marsh. The business has grown steadily, with its reputation for prompt and efficient service. We are known in the industry for our wide-ranging stocks of fasteners and accessories. We are looking for a self-motivated person who works well within a team to fill the following vacancy:
Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
• Responding to sales enquiries.
• Handling or redirecting customer technical enquiries.
• Processing customer order requirements using the company operating platform.
• Generating customer price lists.
• Liaising as appropriate with the fulfilment side of operations to ensure excellent customer service.
Role Details:
• Working hours are 8.30 am – 5.00 pm (½ hour lunch break)
• Salary: Competitive
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Proficiency with computer software such as Excel.
• Ability to talk comfortably with others at all levels.
• Good Written and Oral Communication skills.
• Good Time Management and Organisational skills.
• Previous experience of sales, and with customer-facing roles would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of fasteners and/or the window sector would be a distinct advantage, although not essential.
