Continuing their multi-year investment programme, TruFrame has now installed an Urban AKS 4310 two-head welder, and an AKFU 250 and AKFU 330 end-millers. This enables the company to begin manufacturing window sashes using the patented Timberweld® technology, which emulates the traditional appearance of a 90° timber joint, from March 2020.

TruFrame has manufactured Liniar’s 80mm Flush Casement Window under the brand name Refineä since 2019. With the new machinery, TruFrame has further enhanced the visual appearance and prestige of the product, whilst providing additional strength and security through the use of a stronger welded joint.

The new 80mm Refineä window is the only double-rebated flush sash window in the UK with co-extruded gaskets, allowing consumers to benefit from the very best in terms of energy efficiency and noise reduction. With this new product update, Refineä is now elevated to the position of the most technically advanced product in its category.
