Appearing to confirm what has been reported on the BBC and other outlets, Sevenday Windows have taken to Linkedin to make a statement on the status of the business.

It is as follows:

Whilst this week has been challenging for our former colleagues at the old UKWDG, we are very pleased to say that the SevenDay Centres remain open for business.

Contrary to the various rumours that others are spreading:

– Any order in the system at the time of administration will be fulfilled
– Deposits (including payments in full at point of order) will be honoured by Sevenday despite these being held by the UKWDG administrators as part of that process
– New orders can be taken and our doors are open!

This post has also been shared by the MD of First Home Improvements. It has been reported that the company has taken over Sevenday Windows, but there is yet to be any official statement from any party.

There remains no news on the fate of the other brands within the UK Windows And Doors Group, although it is understood the individual brands are seeking to be sold off.
