Endurance® Doors has used Employee Appreciation Day to demonstrate the enormous value it attaches to its hardworking team.

The manufacturer of solid, secure, and stylish composite doors celebrated the annual event, which took place this year on Friday 1st March, by treating everyone who works at the business to a free lunch.

The meal consisted of Greek street food, such as gyros, pittas, wraps and salads, and was provided by a specialist on-site caterer, hired especially for the day.

Introduced in 1995, Employee Appreciation Day occurs on the first Friday of March. It provides employers with an opportunity to recognise and reward employee effort, and to help build a stronger culture through appreciation.

Endurance® Doors’ decision to mark the event sees it join other progressive employers around the world such as Disney, Deloitte, Saint-Gobain, General Motors, and MARS.

Commenting, Stephen Nadin, managing director at Endurance® Doors, said: “As a people-orientated business, every day is Employee Appreciation Day at Endurance® Doors and the wider Rocal group. We fully understand the vital role our people play in enabling us to offer premium quality products backed by equally high levels of service and support.

“That said, we still wanted to mark the specific diary date as it’s an ideal way to formally and unequivocally acknowledge the contribution of our team.

“A highly engaged and committed workforce has been instrumental in our success and growth to date. It will also be key to our ambitious future plans for further expansion and diversification.”
