Universal Arches is delighted to tell you that Andy Hornigold (pictured) has joined the company as General Manager. Andy has represented a number of our industry’s leading brands, including Evolution, Sternfenster and Deceuninck and most recently was General Manager at Fire Glass in the North West.
Andy joins at an exciting time, with the introduction of aluminium bending. During 2023, Universal Arches invested heavily in state-of-the-art machinery to facilitate the manufacture of bespoke aluminium curves and arches.
Andy Hornigold brings a new focus to Universal Arches’ business strategy and said: “Having worked in the fenestration industry for many years, I am delighted to have joined Universal Arches at such an exciting and promising time and am looking forward to offering Universal Arches’ customers a complete package to assist their business growth, whilst focusing on customer service and reliability.
Andy continued: “Over the past six months, we have perfected the bending of Aluminium and have spent time training our fabrication and customer service team. We are confident that we can supply shaped aluminium frames in any RAL colour, in just six weeks”.
Universal Arches has been shaping uPVC to create fabulous arches, circles, gothic frames, gable ends and bespoke frames for over 35 years and continues to do so, along with the introduction of aluminium bending.
Universal Arches is the only fabricator of uPVC and aluminium shaped windows and door frames between Stoke-on-Trent and Stockport who can offer an immediate service for a fast turnaround on so many bespoke manufactured products in uPVC and aluminium.
Andy said: “We have also been developing a bespoke Online Quoting Portal, which is now live. Customers can prepare their own quotes, see a visual of their bespoke frames and place orders for both uPVC and Aluminium shaped frames instantly. 2024 has started very well and optimism at Universal Arches and across the Kaliber Group is high”.
