A massive well done to the winners, and well done to those who came second and third in their respective categories. To win an awards competition like this is a huge accolade as it’s a year round scheme and winners aren’t decided in short periods of time.
The NFAs this year have grown massively this year. To give you just one example of how much it has grown, the number of people who voted last year was 214 and they cast a total of 879 votes. This year however, we had a staggering 535 people vote, casting a total of 2579 votes. An absolutely massive increase and a clear demonstration that the NFAs are really starting to appear on the radar of much more of the industry now, which is great to see.
We’ll be doing a full review of the awards this year over on the NFA website, so I won’t go into too much detail on here. So, I want to thank all those who took part in nominations, voting, those who tweeted, re-tweeted, posted links everywhere else. I want to thank the sponsors which have helped the awards grow and will help towards putting on a trophy giving event early in 2015. I also want to thank the trade media who covered the awards properly for the first time. All of this combined to make 2014 a year for myself and the whole NFA team very proud of what we have achieved.
A final well done to all the winners this year, you should all be very proud of what you have achieved.
