Wow! 1000 blog posts now published on this site! You’ve got to admit, that is a lot of blogs over the last three and a half years! And one a day every day so far this year (apart from one day where I was too busy to write one!).

I started this site just as a place to air my views and thoughts about the industry. At first it was a place for me to vent my frustration and ruffle a few feathers along the way! Then, after a mention on the RCG website, things started to take off from there. Page views, visits and unique visitors numbers steadily rose over the coming few months. Then they hit the roof when I broke the Veka/Halo story last year! Since then, I have progressed further, giving the site a much needed and much improved overhaul of it’s looks and layout. All my stats this year are so much better than previous years, and since taking on sponsors for the site, I have met some great people within the industry and made some brilliant contacts!

However, 1000 blog posts isn’t what makes this site what it is. What makes the site are the hundreds of readers a day, the 2545 published comments and counting creating great debate and responses from people in the country and over in America too! It’s also the Twitter community that tweets links to my blog every day, retweets my links to the site from my great group of followers on there too! For all of that help, I thank you all!

I was planning to do something spectacular and surprising, just to mark the occasion. But things at my normal day job have got busier over the last few weeks which has left me little time to focus on a special blog post unfortunately :( but maybe some of you can leave me a few nice comments instead to try and make up for it! ;)

As I said above, I have written a post a day so far all this year. Whether I will do the same next year I haven’t decided on yet, but it is likely. I like the idea of you lot coming back here every day and finding something new to read about!
